MPLX G&P summer internship is designed to introduce students to certain functions within a midstream gas processing facility. The internship gives all interns the opportunity to work in different departments within the company throughout the summer. Interns will learn the primary role of each department and how they all work together as one team.
+ Work with Operations group on learning process flow, field equipment monitoring, operating procedures and Lock Out/Tag Out
+ Assist Maintenance and I&E on maintenance tasks and projects. Understand the maintenance planning aspect in relation to mechanical integrity.
+ Work with Safety & Environmental on understanding the elements of PSM and regulatory compliance
+ Work with Facility Engineers to assist with P&ID field verification walkdowns, developing redlines, working with vendors, and suppliers
+ Term of education: Sophomore + Pursuit of a bachelor's degree in: Various oil and gas related degrees
+ GPA of:2.75/4.0
+ Eligibility to work in the U.S.
+ Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
+ Proven problem-solving abilities
+ Critical-thinking skills
